 Rick
Hutchings is a graduate of Ryerson University with a
Certificate in Landscape Design. As a designer he strives to create unique,
inspirational outdoor spaces which are functional, sustainable and aesthetically
pleasing.  Rick is a firm believer in selecting the right plant for the right
location, thereby creating ecologically friendly landscapes that consume less
water and require fewer fertilizers and pesticides.

For the past fifteen years he's been an avid gardener transforming his backyard
from weeds and over-growth to an idyllic urban oasis which was featured in In
House magazine.
Rick enjoys community-based gardening activities as a Director of the Leaside
Garden Society. He organizes community plantings by local elementary schools and
volunteers at Sunnyview Public School, a school for physically disabled
students.
